FROM ZERO TO GLOBAL

The baby steps were learning design placement, concepts, logos. The biggest challenge? Not knowing anything about product creation, sales, or website design—all built from scratch, learning one step at a time.

The moment we knew it was real was when we started creating music for the brand. We're not just statement pieces with graphic tees anymore—now we have a voice. We use SoundCloud as our foundation for music, and over 45 countries are tuning in. That's when we realized: Exoticool isn't just fashion. It's a movement.

WHY ALIENS?

We've both felt like aliens our whole lives—outcasts from being gay, already rejected by society and our families. The tension was thick, the pain was real. We needed a release of energy into something productive, beautiful, and unapologetically us.

Aliens resemble every outcast—weird, gay, bi, trans, Black, Asian, whatever color—we are all considered aliens of this world. Our human bodies are from here, but our spirits are too beautiful to be from here and to be man-made. Creating a safe space for all fellow aliens and supporters is exciting and refreshing. There isn't any brand out there that's as rebellious, demanding, and blunt as ours.

THE BEGINNING

It all started at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Eugene, Oregon—in a trolley car, of all places. We were hitting dark patches in our lives and relationship, desperately needing something positive, bold, and unapologetic. That dinner was a much-needed break to discuss our future and have a moment for ourselves. In that moment, surrounded by the clinking of glasses and the warmth of connection, Exoticool was born.
