Where the Signal Began
Exoticool was founded by Josh and Danny in Eugene, Oregon.
Two gay outsiders. Two different life stories. One shared understanding of what it feels like to exist beyond the template.
The brand was not created by a large fashion company, advertising agency or group of investors studying the next marketable trend. It was built independently through designing, researching, learning, rebuilding and refusing to abandon an idea simply because the process became difficult.
That process took more than 1,000 hours and included failed attempts, technical problems, design changes, rebuilt storefronts and lessons learned without a map.

The important part is what emerged from that journey:
An independent alien streetwear brand for people who have never felt completely represented by the mainstream.
Why the Alien?
The alien is one of the most recognizable symbols in the world.
It represents the unknown, the unexplained and the possibility that reality may be larger than what we have been taught to expect.
At Exoticool, it represents something more personal.
The alien is the outsider.
The person who enters a room and immediately notices what everyone else appears willing to ignore. The person whose identity, creativity, interests or beliefs never fit neatly inside an assigned category.
The alien is not automatically better than everyone else. It is simply capable of seeing from a different position.
That difference can feel isolating until another person recognizes the same signal.

What Is the Rebellion?
The Exoticool rebellion is not about destruction.
